Rental Terms & Conditions

Welcome to PrimeDrive Rentals. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our vehicles. By booking a vehicle with us, you agree to accept these terms and conditions in full. Please read them carefully before signing your rental agreement.
1. Driver Eligibility & Requirements
To rent a vehicle from PrimeDrive Rentals, all drivers must meet the following strict criteria:
- Minimum Age: The primary driver must be at least 21 years of age. A "Young Driver Surcharge" applies to renters between the ages of 21 and 24.
- Valid License: Drivers must present a full, valid driving license held for at least 12 months. International renters require an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside their domestic license.
- Identification: A valid passport or national ID card must be presented at the time of pick-up for identity verification.
2. Payment, Deposits, and Fuel
Security Deposit: A pre-authorization hold will be placed on your credit card at the time of rental. This amount varies by vehicle class ($200 - $500) and is released upon the safe return of the vehicle.
Accepted Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Debit cards may be accepted with proof of return travel ticket. Cash payments are not accepted for the security deposit.
3. Insurance & Liability
Standard Coverage
All rentals include basic Third Party Liability coverage as required by law. This covers damage to other people's property and injury to others.
Optional Waiver (CDW)
To reduce your liability for damage to the rental vehicle, we offer a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). If declined, you are responsible for the full value of damage to the vehicle up to the replacement cost.
4. Prohibited Uses
The rental agreement is void if the vehicle is used for any of the following prohibited activities:
- Driving on unpaved roads or off-road terrain.
- Participating in races, rallies, or speed tests.
- Transporting goods prohibited by law or dangerous materials.
- Towing other vehicles or trailers without prior written consent.
Violation of these restrictions renders all insurance coverage void and the renter fully liable for all damages.
5. Cancellation Policy
We understand plans change. Our flexibility policy allows for:
- Free Cancellation: Up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
- Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 48 hours of pick-up incur a fee equivalent to 1 day's rental.
- No-Show: If the vehicle is not picked up within 2 hours of the reserved time without notice, the reservation is cancelled and the full rental amount is charged.
